I have decided to book this for my daughters birthday dinner on Sept 25th, Its our resort day so we will be at the resort all day rested then head over for a Cat 2 seating at 7:15..Any good reviews I am nervous on this one, I hope my youngest will keep busy..

if you have never done it, it is definitely worth it....very fun. But having gone to a bunch over the last 20+ years they don't change much so I have not gone in a few years and probably won't until my little one is old enough to enjoy it

We absolutely love HDDR. :thumbsup2 It is our tradition for the first night. We are taking our 11 month old DS in September. I think if you have a child who likes music it is very fun. It has some audience interaction. They hand out washboards at one point for the audience to play, kids seem to love this. Awesome fried chicken to boot too.

Hope you love it, as much as us!:cool1:

I don't think I have ever tried Sangria, is it a wine drink? We are not much on drinking but I like a occasional drink and my husband likes a occasional beer..:rolleyes1

Sangria is a fruitty wine drink....

here is the menu that i found, seems to never change!

Entertainment: While you enjoy an all you can eat dinner, you are entertained by good old fashion country western singers, dancers and comedians. Be prepared for slapstick, corny jokes and lots of singing and dancing.

Your meal, brought to your table includes:

Starters: Tossed salad, loaf of bread and honey butter

Feature Items AllEarsNet.comAllEarsNet.comAllEarsNet.com

Ma's Delicious Fried Chicken
Smoked Barbecued Pork Ribs
Mashed Potatoes
Country Style Baked Beans

Strawberry Shortcake

Included with the meal: Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Root Beer, Sprite, Orange, Pink Lemonade, Iced Tea, Apple Juice, Milk, Chocolate Milk, Hot Tea, Coffee, Draft Bud Light, Chardonnay, Rose, Sangria, and Merlot

Hoop reviews are mixed but trend solidly positive. If you like "Oklahoma" or the "Country Bears" you'll love it. I would definitely go unless you hate musical comedy involving cowboy hats!

Note that it is more of a pain to get to than may be apparent. You have to get to FW, then catch a bus--or take a boat to FW from the magic kingdom and back (check Magic Kingdom park operaitng hours before committing to this approach). You don't have to enter the magic kingdom--you can go to TTC, from there to MK, and then catch the boat without going thru MK turnstiles.

We loved it!!!! Our DD was 5 at the time, and she thought it was the best thing. My parents were with us, and they were laughing the entire time. The food was good, too. Love me some ribs!!

You'll have a great time!!!

I've been to the show a few times and it's always a huge hit with every kid I've been with. The food is edible--nothing gourmet, but the show is the main attraction. Most people enjoy this experience.

More Sangria here. Great time in May there.

There are few things on these boards where you see an overwhelming yay or nay on a paticular resteraunt or dinner show. HDDR is one of the few that I would guess gets 99% yay. I am def one of the YAY people.
