Reviews on Flying Fish Cafe?

We have made one of our Disney Dining Reservations at the Flying Fish Cafe. Has anyone eaten there and what do you think? Should we change it or keep it? Thanks

We have eaten there 3 times. Obviously we really like it. I have a pic of the most recent menu, Feb 2008. Most recent of my trips anyway. But I can't post a pic yet. I'll try to remember to come back and post it and some food pics after a few more posts.

Arugula Salad

Salmon tartare

Crab cakes

Seafood pasta (frutti di mare)

Potato wrapped snapper

We ate there in February and my spouse (who has eaten at Shula's, Yachtman's Steakhouse and Le Cellier said that their New York strip steak was the best one he has ever had. He is kind of a picky steak eater and he loved it enough that he wants to go back next trip.

I loved the cheese plate and the potato encrusted snapper. We also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The only inconvenience for me was that the restroom for the restaurant is out of the restaurant in the arcade next door.

Here is the New York Strip. Don't let the charbroil deter you. This one was ordered 'Pittsburgh Style', which I believe is Well Done outside, Med Rare inside.

I love the Flying Fish. Here is my Evil Tuna. (it didn't come with a face, just some dots of sauce)

I did not like it before they got their current chef, but I do like it now. I am going back July 5.

The Flying Fish is excellent. I love the Potato-Wrapped Red Snapper and my wife usually orders the Oak-grilled Maine Diver Scallops. Now I'm hungry.
