Looking for reviews, going on a short three night with only hubby. I also saw something about it being free on boarding day in the afternoon? Also can I purchase these on board? thank in advance!

I do not know about the free part, but I bought day passes for my husband and I on the Fantasy. I spent about 2 hours and was ready to do something else. No desire to go again. My husband, on the other hand, loved it and went several times. I've seen reviews both ways. Love it or not. I would suggest gong to look at it when you board, and purchasing then if you want them. I will say it was quiet and peaceful!

Sadly, the Rainforest Room is not free on boarding day. I think you maybe can walk around the area during the spa open house time? You can purchase a day pass onboard or you can purchase them in advance through the website. You have to order them through the same part of the website where you purchase gift baskets or water bottles for your room, not the excursions area.

Personally, I loved the Rainforest Room. On our 4-night cruise on the Disney Dream, we skipped the sail away party and watched the ship sail away from the hot tubs overlooking the ocean since we had seen the show before (and were cruising without kids). It's all a matter of preference. There are 3 saunas and 3 (or 4?) shower options, with scents and different water pressure/temperatures. In my opinion, the best parts are the hot tubs that look out onto the ocean and the heated tile loungers. I think they're super relaxing and could spend all afternoon in one.

We bought the whole cruise rainforest pass and we definitely got our moneys worth. Like the PP stated, it is super relaxing and nice to lounge in the hot tub or heated tile loungers while you sail away from port. It was also nice to use the hot tub without fighting for space in the public hot tub in the adult area. The three different saunas were really nice also. The showers were okay. We literally went every day at least 2-3 times. It did help that we do not have any children so we could really get away. Plus, if you were like us and don't have kids- it was the perfect place to get away from the kids on the ship!

Here is my review - I'm glad we tried it once but we figured out that we're not big sauna fans, so I'm not sure we'd do it again. The heated tile lougners were HEAVENLY!

Thanks everyone...we will be trying it out at least for a day! We wont have kids with us and I really think we will get use out of it and nice quiet relaxing time...I am really looking forward to the heated tile beds and not fighting over space in the hot tub...

OK so this was totally worth the money! Once on board I booked it before we departed. It was 120$ with an amazing body scrub for both my husband and I for the three days! The tile chairs are amazing the hot tubs are always empty almost. The sauna's are beautiful. You can get ready for dinner in a larger area. I will be booking this from now on! There is a limited amount they sell so it does not become crowded Totally worth the peace and quite. We took naps on the heated tile chairs every afternoon!
