Who has been to Naples at Downtown Disney?? what did you think? how was the food,service..decor... etc.. thanks for your reviews..

Naples has my favorite pizza in the world, the Quattro Formaggi! DELISH!!! 4 kinds of cheese plus the parmesan makes 5! But there are some ppl here that don't care for their pizza. So :confused3.
The service to me was just like eating at any restaurant, nothing that would blow me away, but also nothing bad.
As for decor, when you walk in the restaurant, you can see chefs making pizzas, I know they really aren't decor, but they're fun to watch. If you go upstairs, they have pics of angels wearing sunglasses from the ceiling and molds of hands doing different gestures on the walls. It's very interesting.
I'd have to say that it's one of my faves in DTD!

We like Naples as well. The pizza is very good, so is everything else we've tried on the menu. We're thinking of eating there later this month.

Hated it and would never go back. Sorry we thought the pizza was awful!!!

Naples seems to generate strong opinions one way or the other - people either love it or hate it, but no one really says "Eh...it's okay..." I have had good experiences there. I think the pizza is very generously-sized (even the smallest pizza is big enough for 2-3 people, depending on how hungry your table is). I like it a lot, but it doesn't taste like pizza you may be used to from the 'chain' restaurants, so if you have picky eaters or kids who refuse to eat anything they are not used to, that may be an issue. The flavor is different, especially the crust, which always has a strong taste of olive oil (at least I think it is olive oil). It is supposed to be closer to authentic pizza like what you would find in Naples, Italy. I don't know if that is true or not, but that is the idea behind it. My friend had chicken piccata one time and a meatball sandwich the other time and she was very pleased with both of them. On one visit my pizza seemed under-baked, and on the next visit my pizza was overbaked. But, strangely, I liked both versions because the flavor was good! I have not heard too many good things about the take-out version of Naples - Napolini - so I would stick with the sit-down service at Naples. But I give it a :thumbsup2

I cannot go to DL without have a slice of cheese pizza and a pomagrate Izze from Napolini's. I dream about it when I'm not there.:thumbsup2

We really like to dine there. Last time we started with bread olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Yum to wet our appetites. Wonderful huge salads and of course lasagna. DS20 is 6'3 and can eat. He was full :) great meal we have it on our itinerary for next week :)

:thumbsup2 I agree.

We went to Naples during our first DLR trip last month. We tried to make a last minute PS for DTD and everything but Naples was booked. So, we jumped on the PS. Now we know why there was an opening. The restaurant is nicely decorated and our server was very attentive. However, the food was VERY subpar. We had the fried calamari appetizer. It was undercooked. We had a sausage pizza for our main course, it was burnt. We've had real authentic Italian pizza. This was a very bad impersonation of pizza. IMO. They were huge in portions but lacking in taste. :sad2: We don't plan to return. It was the most expensive meal our trip (including our meal at the Blue Bayou and character meal at Storytellers believe it or not) and worst. :headache: I read good and bad reviews on this restaurant before our trip. So, we went in with an open mind. I know everyone has different tastes. But, I honestly don't see the hype on how some people can say the pizza is great. We just didn't taste it. My opinion, save your money and go elsewhere. :goodvibes

I've eaten here a few times - each of which I can't tell you much about. Why? Because nothing stood out over any other meal I've had. It's definitely not the greatest pizza I've ever had, nor the worst, but like any other restaurant in DTD, it's definitely overpriced - especially for pizza. If you want good food, I suggest Catal (a bit more expensive, but worth it), or ESPN zone (still overpriced for what it is, but tastier).
