I sort of saw this show on Sunday. The reason I say sort of is because unless you are sitting on the lower part of the concrete in front of Golden Dreams, your view will be obstructed by trees. I liked how the stage looks like presents. And I thought the best part was seeing the cards that park guests had made during the day. Some of the presents open up like a Big Screen TV and the cards are shown like a slide show. But honestly, the lights were hard to see (considering they're saying this is a light show -- I mean, the title is derived from illuminate, isn't it?) and it's no Believe when it comes to music and fireworks.

Been there, done that. Won't worry if I don't see it again.

We also saw the show on Sunday. Somehow we had gotten the time wrong and originally joined the crowd in viewing area across from Pier, however we didn't want to just sit for an hour. Instead we did another trip on Soarin over California and then watched much of the show from our balcony at the GC. We could hear the show and saw the fireworks, couldn't see the cards. It wasn't bad

does anyone else have reviews on it?

so far i have read negative reviews...pppl say its hard to see,no magic in the show and smoke is all over you and it was just boring and a waste of time...anyone agree or disagree?

My family was near the carousel; there's a little building where they store crowd- control equipment (stanchions, etc) and we watched it just to the left of this little building. The view of the rear-screen projectors was perfect. I thought it was teriffic, and so did DS7. It wasn't all that crowded, either. We got there about 9:15, rode the carousel, and waited until it started. FYI, all the rides close early; the carousel closed at 9:30 and CS closed its line at 9. I liked how the Xmas tree "appeared" out of the smoke at the end - teriffic & really pretty. The entire show reminded me of Illuminations at Epcot.

I would have to say that this show is not worth the time. Not at all what I expected. Maybe I expected too much. But it did not live up to the hype.
