Am considering trying fulton's crab house on next trip....never been before and wondering if it is worth going to? :confused3

I have been a little hesitant to book an ADR at Fulton's since I really have not read a review on it yet either. I hope some one has been then there :rolleyes1 and could give you a great review.:thumbsup2

There are 2 threads on the main Restaurant board about Fultons, one started by me because I wanted to now as well, we are going in 2 weeks. Both have multiple posters that give it positive reports. No real specific reviews, though.

It's been a couple of years since I went to Fulton's, but it has been a must visit restaurant for DH and I. I particularly love the King Crab Claws. They took them off the menu awhile ago, but last time I went, I looked all over the menu, and the waiter overheard me say, "oh no, they don't have the king crab claws anymore." He came over and told me that they still serve them to guests that specifically request them. They are an expensive treat, but yum. I don't know if they still have them, and I think they were around $55, but like I said...a nice treat if you enjoy crab. They also gave each table crab boursin and crackers as a starter...I love that stuff. I have the recipe, and it is delish.

The service has been great everytime I've been, and we enjoy the atmosphere. So, I think it's definitely a nice place to try. Have fun!

If you click on my trip report in my signature- On day 3 I give a review of Fultons. :thumbsup2 It is nearly 2 years old but Ive been a few times and had similar experiences. The food is nice but Ive always found it to be lukewarm, service has been ok although very slow at times.

Im a big seafood lover but have decided that Fultons is off our list this time.

i went there last year during f&w . dh and i sat in the constellation room. although we thought it was a little overpriced for the amount of food you got. the quality was definitely there and we believed it to be one of our favorites. dh had the king crab claws. my son and i shared the lobster and crab meal. again the food was wonderful. my opinion was it was a little overpriced. however we would go here again.

this past February and the food was terrific. It is much more affordable for lunch than dinner and easier to get into plus you get a dining discount. I had the fried fishermans platter, my wife had grilled mahi mahi and my sister had a shrimp sandwich that she said was unbelievable. The crab spread with the crackers was wonderful too!

We ate there out last trip and were paying OOP for all meals that trip

we found that if you shared a few appetizers and entrées (which they were fine with) everyone got enough food and you could do it without blowing the bank

good food quality and good service, but definitely not cheap
