Garden Grill~~July 17~~Dinner
My boyfriend and I spent the morning swimming at Typhoon Lagoon. When we came back to BWI, we decided to make some dinner PS. We had good memories of the Garden Grill back when they served breakfast, so we decided to give them a try for dinner. We were able to get a 5:10 PS. We arrived at that time and were seated promptly. I really love the booths at this restaurant. It's the one character dining experience where you sort of feel secluded from everyone else. Definitely ask to be seated in a booth on the lower level. They serve a great skillet for dinner. The meal started off with a salad. Our server, Michael, explained that the lettuce and vegetables were grown right at Epcot. It came with ranch dressing and was delicious. The skillet consisted of mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled flank steak, chicken, breaded catfish, stuffing and bread. I think I ate the most of my vacation here.
If you want more of any of the food selections, your server will be happy to bring it out. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Everything was great! I'd definitely go back here again. Characters were Mickey, Chip & Dale and Pluto. They provided great interaction and I got some wonderful pictures with them. Dinner was priced at $46.84 for 2 adults.

Boma's~~July 18~~Breakfast
We had an early PS at 7:30 am. I mostly made this PS because I stayed at AKL on my last trip and wanted to visit it again. Boma provided a very good breakfast. I sampled many of the items and the only thing that didn't agree with me were the potatoes. They were just a bit too spicy for me. Our server was Rhanda and he was very nice. He insisted that we try the "special juice", which I believe is the Frunch. It was very good. I finished my glass and I'm not even a big juice drinker. Their fresh fruits were excellent. Usually at a buffet, the fruits taste a bit stale. We both filled our plates with fruit for "dessert". By the time we left at 8:30, the place was almost filled and people were waiting to get in. I'd go back here again. Breakfast was around $30.

Rainforest Cafe~~July 18~~Lunch
We spent the day at Animal Kingdom and ate at their RFC. I've eaten here a few times before and always had a good meal and service. This time it was just average. For starters, it was freezing in there. We were seated next to a family of 4 and the kids were shivering. The mom went out to the gift shop to buy them a sweatshirt. Maybe it's a ploy for souvineer shopping?
Being so cold, I ordered the Safari Soup to warm me up for starters. It was good, actually the best part of my meal. I had the Blue Mountain Chicken as my meal and it was just lukewarm. Maybe it sat around too long. I sent it back to be warmed up. My boyfriend had the Planet Pasta with Shirmp, except when they brought it out, there was no shirmp on it. Our server, Jennifer, brought out a bowl of shrimp for him to put over it. We were there at 2:00 and it was pretty busy. Perhaps that's why we were never offered refills on our drinks. I may have to write this one off for my next trip. Bill came to $54.00, overpriced IMHO.
