We flew Airtran non-stop put of Moline, IL. I had checked in online before the flight so I had our boarding passes. We still needed to go to checkin because we had our bags. We got them tagged and then had to take them to security.
The plane we flew on was dirty. It didn't look like they did a very good job cleaning up after the flgith that had just gotten off. I was a little grossed out. The attendents were all nice and it was a smooth flgiht. No problems. The Flight Attendent did have to check our car seat for the FAA approved sticker. They did the same on the return flgiht. I have never had anyone check before.
The return flgith was delayed an hour. We ended up being a half an hour behind schedule. The plane this time was cleaner. No problems with check-in. Flight Attendents were nice again.
We did hit some turbulence from Matthew, but nothing too bad.
FL Tours-We were met at the bagge Carousel by Ricardo. He had a sign with my name on it. He was very nice and helped us with our luggage. We had a lot of luggage which is why I requested a van. The van was VERY nice! Very clean, looked brand new. He had Lilo and Stitch playing for DD. We had a half hour grocery stop at Publix and then off to the Poly. He gave us a receipt and a pick-up time of 1pm for our 3 pm flight.
Andy called our room Friday night to confirm pick-up at 1pm.
We were in front waiting for our driver before one. I was looking for a van similar to the one we were picked up in. Instead we got a regular van. It was not as clean and the driver was not as neat in appearence. I asked him if he was with FL Tours even though he had a sign with my name because the van said something like www.Orlandotransprtation.com. I guess the sign said FLTours (DH saw it I didn't) and the driver did not have a name tag on. They didn have a lap top with Tom and Jerry cartoons playing for DD. The driver was nice enough and got us to the airport.
I will say though that having that van at the end was disappointing. Especially when you have the really nice one to pick you up. Kind of a bummer.
I guess I was expecting more. I didn't think this van was "Luxury" at all compared to the first one.
Overall I was happy with FLTours and would use them again.
