Review request for Grand Floridian Cafe

Can anyone tell me about this restaurant?

Do I have time to go here for lunch if my kids are at the Wonderland Tea Party?

Is lunch worth 2 TS on the DDP?

Do I need ADR for mid-week lunchtime?

I appreciate any info.

I thought Grand Floridian Cafe was worth 1 TS credit per person.

I've never eaten there but it sounds really good.

it is really good! it is only one TS credit unless it has recently changed. I love how bright it is at lunchtime, and the food is really good, and the dessert is too! the waitstaff is always so nice, I think this place is way underrated!

My family and I just returned from the Grand Floridian a week ago, and we ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe one night during our stay. We actually found the meal to be one of the highlights of our trip. We went for dinner, so I can't comment on the lunch entrees, but we were all extremely impressed with our meals. The atmosphere was very pleasent and relaxing, and the service was excellent! I'm not sure how long the wonderland tea party lasts, so I can't help you on the timing aspect, but if you have time I would highly reccomend grabbing lunch and soaking in the relaxing atmosphere of the Grand Floridian Cafe. Enjoy!

We love the GF Cafe and have lunch there at least once most trips.

Atmosphere, food and service are all excellent.

I do make a reservation even if it last minute as sometimes it is crowded. Other times it is a walkup but you just never know. Since you know you'll be there anyway, I would just go ahead and make one. You could always cancel if need be.

My 4 children were on the 2 hour pirate cruise the second week of June and the wife and I went to have breakfast at the cafe.
WOW! Service was extraordinaire! Louise and Luiz were on top of it all. And the nice touch of referring to you by name.
The food was great, awesome, delightful, mouth-watering.... I want to go for breakfast right now!
We had eggs benedict, maple-vanilla french toast and smoked salmon with tomatoes, onions, flavored cream cheeses and toasted bagel.

I had breakfast there in May with two friends, great food. I had the spinach and egg frittata and mimosa's are awesome . The service was good but we did feel a little rush, the server kept looking over at our table. Not sure if he was just being attentive but it made us a bit nervous, again like we were rushed. I had never been to the Grand Floridian and it was nice to just walk around the hotel. There was a old time car and buggy in the front and one of the valet guys took a picture of my friend in the buggy. He was very friendly and said there are lot of star's that stay ther. He said he had recently seen JLo and Mark Anthony vacationing there. I'd go there again.

We had dinner there last year and it was very good.
