We met my parents in Epcot yesterday, and of course, as usually we had the afternoon deluge. We were in the Chinese pavillion and getting very hungry. Nine Dragons was right there and seemed like it was a good choice, considering we really didn't want to get back out in the pouring rain.
We were seated immediately (got there about 4:45) and had a wonderful waitress who was training. She was very courteous, knowledgeable and the service was impeccable.
My parents ordered several appetizers, including the shrimp, the dumplings and the springrolls, as well as the special for the day... the Szeuwan Beef Pot (very hot and spicy) but everyone said it was delicious. DD had the Sweet and Sour Chicken from the kids menu which was good, and DH and I shared the Meal for 2 which included Spring Rolls, Wonton Soup, Dumplings, a choice of 2 entrees ( we ordered the Shrimp and Chinese Vegetables and the Kung Bao Chicken (also right spicy), Jasmine Tea, Fortune Cookies and Red Bean Ice Cream. Everything on that combo platter was fantastic. Fresh, hot and delicious.
During the meal, they had the parade for the Chinese New Year through the restaurant and the kids were all invited to join in. It was a lot of fun for DD.
After hearing poor reviews on this restaurant, we were hesitant, but no more. We will definitely be adding this to our list of "must do" restaurants. Now we are willing to be more adventurous, and may have to try Alfredos and Le Chefs...lol!
