Review of Yak and Yeti on Allears!

the decor looks very unique and interesting! it seems like they went all out. that explains the prices! hehe

the food presentation looks plenty and good. hope it tastes that way too!

In the pictures it looks like there is a full bar... I wonder, will you be able to walk in and just sit at the bar for a drink? That would be very cool. I don't particularly care to eat there but I wouldn't say no to a little "refreshment." :D

Man what a suck up review...This person seemed more thrilled to see Joe Rhode:confused3 than anything else...Joe Rhode:lmao:

But based on the excitement on this so called "dining board" I guess this new McDon...er Yak n Yeti will fill 'em up...Pardon me if I let you all have my space...:rotfl: Landry's...The Nations name for fine dining...:rotfl: :woohoo:

boy peter pirate, why does everyone have to bash the places I like, first country buffet, now landrys!

I think it looks like a fun addition to AK and think its great that now we finally have some reviews to go with it!

I must say the decor looks interesting, but doubt I'll ever try the place...Chinese food just isn't for me on vacation. And It certainly isn't a "signature" restaurant by any stretch. But other than RFC, it's the only game in town at the AK. For that reason alone it'll probably do well---

Looking forward to giving this a try in March!

Does anyone know if it will be participating in the Dining plan and if so how many credits? Thanks!

I find it amusing that someone wants a review of a new restaurant that hasn't even started its second day of operation, but insists that the review come from a reviewer who is not 24/7 fixated on Disney...

I agree - seeing the photos was helpful, but I would love to see an objective assessment from someone who isn't 24/7 WDW fixated.

We're heading down to WDW tomorrow morning for a long weekend and plan on eating there tomorrow for lunch. When I get back, I'll give you the straight scoop! For the record, I'm no fan of RFC, but I'm really interested to see how Y&Y is, good or bad...

 And I find it even funnier than in a day and age of cell phone cameras and wireless internet that a DIS layperson who runs into something newsworthy while at WDW doesn't immediately weigh in here to report it.

I love the look of the restaurant from what I see in the photos. Exactly as I imagined it might be. (Does that make me an Imagineer?) ;-)

However, I'm very disappointed in the menu. Where's the Indian food? Where's the vegetarian food? I'm just non-plussed by it.

Although I would like to meet Joe Rhode. :-D
