I made an ADR for the buffet at trail's end. Anyone have any reviews- good or bad would be appreciated. I hope that I will not regret it. TIA

Just like Tony the Tiger Say's, There Great
You will like it, I have eatin there many times and always had good meals at very good prices, the glass's are pint jars, tables and chairs made out of logs for that early frountier feel. Neat!:thumbsup2

We've eaten there and loved it. Nice buffet with something for everybody. Reasonable (for Disney) prices too.

NOTE: The above is for breakfast, which is good and
quite tasty - and we recommend it. . Dinner quality is next
in line, and lunch far-far-far behind. laterly, they changed
lunch, and it is now is on our "not recommend" list.

We really like it and it is reasonably priced for a Disney Buffet. DS likes the atmosphere. It's nice to take the trip out to FW to look around and/or go to the Campfire/Movie. Were there once when it was raining buckets and the waitress offered to go out in the rain and get ponchos from the FW general store. We wouldn't let her knowing she'd have to work all night in the air conditioning after getting wet. What an awesome offer, though. And they had towels there for all the customers to dry off with. That is outstanding customer service.

We like it and our grandkids love it. We go there for the kids friendly food choices, good service and prices. We love Fort Wilderness too.

Had lunch there off the menu and liked it and the waitress told me I should come back for a dinner buffet. I did this and was glad that I did. It was good. Try it out--I think that you'll enjoy it.

It's our must do every trip. Nice salad bar, ribs, grilled and fried chicken, chili or soup, cornbread, pizza, carved meat, mashed potatoes and gravy, cheesy potatoes, and a nice basic dessert bar - rice krispie treats, cookies, puddings, fruit cobbler and ice cream with various toppings.

Basically you get all of the food from the Hoop De Doo except strawberry shortcake for about a 3rd of the price (and you have to pay for your beer).

We've introduced friends to it and they've all liked it too.

We thought it was just okay....not sure that we'd do it again. I mean the food was decent and service was good, but it cost as much as Crystal Palace? I didn't understand why it cost so much....there are no characters and we had to travel to MK and board a boat to get there so it wasn't a convenient location. Again, the food was decent but nothing really stuck out in our minds as fabulous or unique to this restaurant.

I still think every family should eat at every restaurant they are even remotely interested in and make the decision for themselves :) We've eaten at quite a few restaurants that had bad reviews and we like them LOL...same goes for restaurants with rave reviews (LeCellier, Whispering Canyon) that we don't really care for.

I think the food is okay, my DD5 loves it for the ice cream bar, and my DH is a very picky southern meat and potatoes man so this is his dinner choice every year. It's his fav too b/c we stay at FW.

It was my DS's choice for his birthday dinner. Food was good, plentiful and assorted enough to please everyone (from my parents to my kids). We were on the DDP but this was a very reasonably priced meal.

Oh, and my kids loved the dessert bar with make your own sundaes and rice krispy treats....they had a great time making krispy sundaes!

I like it ! Pair it up with a trip to the camp fire sing along..makes for a great evening ! good for a non park day !

We have eaten here here 4 times in just over 2 years and we love it. Even my extremely picky DS finds multiple foods he will eat here, so that really makes it worth it for us. :thumbsup2

We love it. We skipped it this last trip, but only because we were trying all new places. It's usually our first nights dinner.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I feel better about my choice now. Am looking forward to trying some place different.

I asked this on the DDP board, but no one answered. :( How many TS credits do they take if you get chicken or pizza to go? Thanks!

We usually stay at WL and a pleasant boat ride over for breakfast or dinner...lunch not so much (used to be better)..pleasant surrounding, great food with many normal choices to please everyone....and cheapest buffet on property.....

Used to be easy to get in but as of the past, word is out and ADR's are needed....we sometimes go over just for a pizza down stairs at Crockett's Tavern......must do for us every trip...more so than anyother place on property.....
