We checked in around 8:00 p.m. We had requested connecting, non-smoking rooms, but were assigned adjoining non-smoking rooms. We asked if there would be connecting rooms the next day and about the possibility of moving. After the nice CM explained that we would have to check out, have our luggage put in storage while we were at the parks, then check in again, I asked if they would guarantee the connecting rooms for the next day. He went to check and was gone a long time. In the meantime a lady down the way was screaming at a CM about sewage backed up in her bathtub. I was a bit worried now about what to expect for our first stay, but understand that plumbing problems do happen.
My CM returned and magically came up with connecting rooms for our whole stay. We had first floor, building 7 on the end. We hardly saw any other guests until I walked to the food court the next day. Unfortunately we heard lots of busses, as the parking lot between bldg 6 and 7 is a staging area.
Mousekeeping was fine. No towel animals, but I did not expect them. The room was nicely furnished and the fridge convenient. I forgot how small double beds are though. DS wanted to go to the playground, but it closed at dusk. We had good food from the food court and a decent selection at the gift shop. Only used a bus for MK, but it was there right when we walked up. We only made one stop at Riverside because the bus was full.
As far as the moderates go, I prefer this over CS, and consider it a good choice for the money.
