This was our second time at Ohana's. I have heard such mixed reviews about the food so I was afraid that we might be disapointed with the changes. It was wonderful just like before. I really think that the food is very good. I started with an Island Sunset drink that was soooo delicious. I really liked the new cheese potatoes and the new banana foster dessert was great. Anyone questioning whether or not to try this place...don't. It is a must do in my book. :thumbsup2

Tara I so agree with you. I loved the old menu, but I really love the new menu as well. The Banana's Foster Bread Pudding, was soooo good. I can not wait to try to make it home.

I'm glad you had a good time. We also love 'Ohanas and the new bread pudding. We have a problem of eating too much of it while we are there.

Does anyone know if the current menu for Ohana's on allearsnet is correct? We were thinking of going here after a day at MK. Will park clothes be alright to wear? Also, how much time should we allow to get from MK on the resort monorail to the Polynesian?
TIA :goodvibes

Yeah, I also loved the new menu just as much as I loved the old menu.

AllEarsNet's current 'Ohana menu is correct.

Park clothes are just fine for 'Ohana - it's casual dining.

I generally leave the park about 30 minutes before my reservation. It doesn't always take 30 minutes, usually it takes about 10-15, but I like to be a little early, just in case the monorail breaks down or there is a long line to get aboard.

By the way folks, I know I'm being nit-picky here, but the name of the restaurant is 'Ohana. The apostrophe comes first, and there is no S at the end. 'Ohana means family, and family means nobody goes away hungry!

Hi Wendy,
The menu at all ears is correct. It is from January 2006. We always were park clothes. We go immediately from MK.

When I ate at Ohana I went from the MK too. I like going about an hour early, and having a drink at Tambu, and exploring the Poly. I also loved the potatoes and bread pudding, and also, though not new, the chicken wings.

DH and I LOVED 'Ohana in December. We are debating whether we should go back or try another place. (I think that we are going to go back ;) )
