Review of CRT lunch

We went to CRT lunch last Tuesday. It was wonderful. We walked in and got our pictures taken with Cinderella. Next we were called up and I asked for a window seat. We were seated by the triple windows on the right side of the room. The kids were given a magic wand for DD and a sword for DS. They also got two wishing stars that lite up and blinked. The food drinks and appetizers were delivered quickly. As I took one bite our food was delivered. That was a little annoying but I decided that I would not be rushed. I expected the food to be below average from what I have read from some reports on this board. The food was excellent! I have worked in many kitchens and I know good food. My DH and I ate the major Dom's pie. It was hot and yummy. The kids were happy with the chicken. The dessert was good. We got our picture at the beginning of the meal. Character interaction was good. I thought that the value of this lunch was good. We spend $38 on couner service and that does not include appetizers and dessert. We left with big smiles on our faces. I am very happy that we ate in the magical castle.

Just being in Cindy's castle adds to the whole dining experience. It is a must-do at least once!

Quick question: What were the children's desserts?

My kids had vanilla ice cream with a thick chocolate crown on top of it. My DD would not eat her crown because she kept balancing it on her head.

thanks for your reviews, I have never eaten here and really want to this trip.....I guess before the price goes up...........
