I am starting to plan a trip back to the park next year. Every time I have gone in the past I have always stayed within walking distance of the front gate. This time I am looking at saving some money and staying farther away from the park.

I was just wondering if I could get people's opinions of ART? How much of a pain is it to use? Is there anything about it that I should be aware of?

We've used ART for several trips when staying at Worldmark which is 1 mile away. We find it to be a nice way to get back and forth without having to walk after already doing so much of that at DL! Our route made 3 stops (if I remember correctly) and it would take about 20 minutes for it to circle from our hotel to DL and back. Some of the routes that are further out would take longer, probably more like 30 minutes. On one hand it's nice that you know it will be coming within 20 minutes (or whatever time frame your route takes) and not having to be at the stop at a specific time but on the other hand it can seem like it takes forever if you just miss it and all you want to do is get to DL to start having fun! We always go back mid-day for a nap so cost wise it's great that you just pay one price for the day and it's unlimited rides. At the end of the day the bus gets PACKED. They will cram as many people on as they can though. So to avoid crowds don't wait until the last bus, we always do since we close down the park every night. If they can't fit everyone on the last bus they will make another run or one of the other routes will take you. We no longer have a stroller but if you do it's pretty easy to get it on/off if you are organized.

We have used it in the past and plan on doing so next month.
Yes it can get crowded at the end of the park hours, so plan accordingly.
Cheap and easy for the most part.
:)
