My DH wanted to try an Orlando Seafood Buffett this trip (end of July) so we picked Angel's at the Holiday Inn Nikki Bird. We found an ad that stated the price was $19.99 per adult if you dined between 4-6 p.m (kids were around $6.95 - if they do not eat the lobster nor the crab legs). Since it was raining - and we were hungry - we decided to go to this buffett around 4:15 on a Tuesday. Okay - I must say I was skeptical but willing to give it a try. We did not have to wait to be seated when we arrived. The restaurant looks like a diner. A lot of chrome and plastic. I'll jump to the food. The buffett was set up cafeteria style. Here's what I can remember - they had 2-3 soups, an okay salad bar (lettuce was crisp), sushi (3? varieties), ribs, chicken, corn on cob, biscuits (yuck!), hot dogs, chicken and fish nuggets, scallops, peel and eat shrimp (very good), fried clams (very good), muscles on the half shell, whole lobster (I didn't care for this), and crab legs (very good). (They had more that I can't remember). The desserts weren't very good except for the fresh cookies (they had cherry pie, a couple of cakes, and icy ice cream). The variety was pretty good. I didn't care for the ambience (not relaxing at all!). About 5:30 pm it got extremely packed and the line was crazy!! Our waitress told us if we just wanted crab legs/lobster we could skip to the end of the line. We tipped her well. Over, I would say we got our money's worth in crab legs. We said we did it once and wouldn't return again.
