REVIEW: Disney Dining Buddy

I used DDB to find a BoG lunch - within 48 hours of my request, I had a text and booked a slot. Well worth the $8 for me - I don't have the ability to sit and check and check and check. I'll happily pay $8 for someone else to do that for me!

We had great luck as well--I first used it to try and get a CP reservation and was able to book one for a pretty decent time within two days. Last night, I paid 8 for a BOG search and booked it 20 minutes ago. DDB is a win for us!

I found wdw tools to work better and its free. I had the same search going simultaneously for Tusker House, it was on dining buddy for 3 weeks, nothing! Found wdw tools after searching for other dining sites, 2 days on wdw tools and I get a text, booked and done. Never received one from dining buddy.

Also snagged CRT a few days ago. It only allows for 3 free searches, but hey, at the time I was only concerned about Tusker House. Then once that worked, I went for the big fish!

I also used ******** and successfully secured a BOG ADR. I missed out the first time it notified me (because I had a conflicting ADR I needed to cancel) but snagged one after my second notification. I've since been notified of availability two more times. Well worth it for me on this trip because we had a narrow window of time for dinner on our MK day prior to the start of MVMCP. Any other time and I probably wouldn't have bothered and just gone elsewhere for dinner because my schedule would be a bit less strict.

I am using Disney Dining Buddy to assist me in catching a BOG reservation. I got a hit today but I left my text notification volume off on my phone and didn't see it until an hour later. Missed it. It took about a week for something to pop up. I also stalk Disney's website too!! Was beginning to think I would never get an alert.

Worked great for us. I set mine up to receive text notifcation. Ended up getting BOG for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Since I had everything booked 180 days out and then Disney announced Boyz II Men for Eat to the Beat, I had to change somethings around. Kept checking everyday and I finally had enough. The $8 for DDB is well worth it for me, I can sit back and relax and they tell me if they found something. I just did a second sign up to see if I can get a coveted BOG dinner reservation.
