Revenge of the Mummy early admission

THIS STINKS!!! we will be there the week before and staying on-site!!! does this mean that may 28th will be the first time it will be open to the public???

It could be. Hopefully at least by then because I'll be there a couple days later.

WOW! Nice perk! did you book through Universal vacations? If you are staying on site, it does not automatically give you this perk. You have to book through the package area.

Oh, I don't think it's going to be that long before the public can ride the mummy. They are presently doing employee previews. Not everything is working yet but I don't think it will be 2 months before it is.

We booked one of those Universal vacation packages but for an offsite hotel (Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites) but it comes with the park admission for length of stay and everything, though. I wish it worked with that too. That would be so awesome. We booked with AAA though and I just heard about this today and we made the reservations last night. If anyone knows if this works with offsite packages as well then I might see if it would be possible to add that on. I'm sure its probably just for the 3 major resorts though.

Yes he's been, but they can't say anything because they signed a paper saying they wouldn't.

The rumored opening is May 16th, probably true because Orlando kids get out of school May 25th. They want the ride open when the kids get out.

I just can't imagine them giving that perk to people who are not on site, without giving the people on site the same. We will be there on the 28th of May, I wonder if I show them our room key if they'll let us in 1/2 hour early too. Hmmmmmmmmm.

>>Yes. I give it a rating of

It's very fun. You'll like it.<<

A question, please.

Are any of the special effects "buggy" as in scarabs crawling or biting? My dd hates bugs.

If you can't say directly..........knock 3 times for yes and 2 times for no. ;)

Thanks.

Great report! I cannot wait. This is so exciting.

Dark Marauder - will Mummy have a child swap area? If so, are older kids who may be scared allowed to wait here while a parent goes on? It's just me and my daughter going, but she is a 8 soon to be 9 year old chicken, and I know the ride will scare her to death. Can she wait in the child swap area, or do you recommend putting her at Camp Lil Rock? I did that when she was 4 and 5, but she is worried that all the other kids there will be much younger.

Yes, there is a child swap area. The "chicken exit" (yes, there is one) leads straight to it.

Atreyu - I checked the Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites web site and didn't see anything about packages. Could you tell me how to find out about these?
