I was wondering if anyone had used Rev Jack day as I saw his name on the disney list that they sent me but have no idea about any of them and I thought I remembered seeing his name somewhere on the forum before. If anyone could let me know what he was like - ie funny, easy going ??

We used him! It was a back up plan. one month before our wedding my uncle who was marrying use came down with cancer and was unable to fly down to Orlando. I spoke with Rev Day over the phone twice, we met him 2 weeks before the wedding, and all of our guests kept saying 'it was great to have someone marry you that knew you guys so well'

all in all I was so happy with everything, he made us laugh and some cry but some of all he made everyone feel comfortable and somehow connect to the ceremony. Good luck and he will make your day!

Jack Day did our wedding and did a wonderful job. We chatted on the phone a few times. He send us his Jack Pack, which had examples of how things could go. We went thought it, tailored to us and sent it back to Jack. The day of the wedding, Jack was great. I would highly recommend him.

It was several years ago, but we had Rev. Jack and loved him! We communicated through several e-mails and one phone call, but on the day of our wedding it was like he'd known us forever! He made our ceremony feel very personal. I asked him to say a prayer for my mom, who had passed before our wedding, and with little input from me he said the perfect prayer. He even stuck around after the ceremony for extra pictures, gave our toast at the cake cutting, and gave us marriage advise during the cake cutting reception.

We had Jack Day and loved him. He was funny and helped us through the whole ceremony with what to do. I highly recommend him.

I wasnt sure who to go with for my non-religious wedding in October and my planner, Amy had so many great things to say about him. I can't wait!

OMG - our wedding is the day before yours!! We've got Rev Jack booked. He's been great. He sent me information to get started. He seems to be highly recommended on these boards so fingers crossed it all works out!

Hi sweetus - I think our weddings are on the same day - April 28th and I think we are the time slot before you at the pavillion so if you are having Rev Day then it would be good for him as we will only 2 hours apart.

I just have to add that I just watched a video clip of Rev Jack Day on the STVS website and he was SOOOO CUTE!!!!!!! I already love him!

Ok so obviously I can't count  Yeah I'm the 28th. Its coming around so fast.

Its great to have someone else with the same wedding date! You can tell me how much you have done and I can feel guilty over what I haven't done:lmao:

Have you talked to Rev Jack yet?

Well you can stop feeling guilty as I have not done much at all !!!! headache:
all I have so far is the date and time.
I have no idea where we are staying or what the order of things are going to be on the big day - there is only 12 of us (10 adults, 2 kids) and so booking a hall or anything is out of the question so i am pulling my hair out already as to what to do after the 2.30 ceremony.

I wanted to get feedback on Rev Jack before I spoke to him and it all
seems positive so I will have to get in touch - may I ask if you rang him or emailed him ?

I went through his website http://www.revjackday.com/ If I remember correctly though, his enquiry form wasn't working on the site so I had to email him. His address is listed on his website. He was very quick emailing me back and told me that he was putting me down for the day. A few days later we got our information pack. It actually had one of the better maps I've seen of the Disney resort - info on petrol stations, medical locations etc but unfortunately its pretty bad quality from being photocopied so many times! so am trying to find something similar to give my guests.

We're looking at about 50 ppl for our wedding - better than the 200-250 we'd have here in Ireland though! Our ceremony is in the Wedding Pavilion at 2pm. After that we're having our pre-reception and reception in Whitehall Room and Patio. We'll be finishing up the day in Epcot at UK Lochside for Illuminations. Other details are more fuzzy :cutie: I'm hoping that I might be able to come to some sort of arrangement with Disney to get Whitehall back after Illuminations or some other location for a bit of a party. It just seems so wrong for a wedding to be over so early! But they want me to meet food and beverage minimums again which is way out of my budget!

What are your thoughts for the day?

I have heard back from Rev Day and he has pencilled me in for my wedding. One more thing to cross off the never ending list of things to do. Thanks for everyone's feed back.

Thats great Nadders! One less thing to do:goodvibes

How soon can you book him?

As soon as you want I think. You don't pay until nearer the wedding I think so you shouldn't lose anything if DFTW moves your date or whatever.

so we contacted Rev. Jack about 2.5 weeks ago. He got back to us within a few days said we are penciled in and that Jack's Pak is on it's way. :goodvibes We still haven't received it and I'm starting to get concerned. Should I email him again or wait another week or so?:confused3

The email I got back from him said something like I would receive the Jack Pack in 6-8 weeks...I think. I'm at work and don't have access to the email he sent me...but I remember thinking that it was a long time to wait. Check the confirmation email that he sent for the time frame. I'm thinking that he probably waits until he gets a bunch of them and sends them via media mail or some other slow snail mail way. HTHs
