Reusing a Magic Band

DD18 and I went to WDW in February and got new Magic Bands that we used. I did the bookings/ reservations and we used my, My Disney Experience account.
She is going to WDW with a friend in August and they have all their reservations under the friend's dad's account.
She wants to know if there is a way to connect her magic band from February so that she can use it in August?

As I read this...
The friend's dad" needs to invite your DD18 to "join with" (connect with) his (the dad's) MDX account (YOU might need to do this for your DD18 from your MDX account) so DD18's ticket and reservations (which you say are currently IN the dad's MDX) will connect with DD18's MB (which is currently connected to YOUR current MDX.)

OTOH, the dad can try putting your DD18's MB NUMBER into his (the dad's) MDX account under your DD18's name.

It's possible that Disney might have to help make this (deceptively complex) concoction work.
