Reunion neighborhoods

We are considering Reunion for our next trip. I have researched the various areas and have narrowed homes down to Homestead, Masters Landing or Legends Corner. Is there any benefit of staying on the east section versus west section? For those areas that are still being built, does it look terrible with empty lots and/or construction going on? I am ok with it if they are well kept (not overgrown, etc. like some construction areas). Thanks!

Well, we bit the bullet and reserved a home in Legend's Corner on the west side. There are homes built all around the one we reserved, so construction shouldn't be an issue (at least not directly). We swore we were staying onsite this trip, but my daughter is still hit or miss in the night from night terrors/screaming in her sleep...so figured we would stay offsite and not wake all of the Beach Club!

East and West areas of reunion are very different and I4 splits them. Really depends what you are looking for in a vacation.

That is a great spot...newer homes, close to the water park, right by the back entrance to 429, and beautiful! You will love it there!

My hubby's boss stays in Reunion and loves it. She is very picky so for her to say she loves it is a big deal.

We stayed in Reunion once a few years ago, and will be there again in January.

We drove through the west side once - there was a lot of construction back then, but I think the Great Recession stopped that in its tracks for a few years. I don't know the current status. Some of the houses we saw on the west side must have cost a bundle before the recession.

As you have probably seen, the main resort amenities are on the east side, across I-4. It's an easy drive across the bridge.

Some units have a membership in the Reunion water park, but some do not. Worth asking about if that matters to you.
