Returning Your Dollar Rental Vehicle-Do They Really ask for a Gas Reciept?

I've rented from Dollar a few times and now I'm nervous about this new policy about filling up the tank closer to MCO. How picky are they really? I'm used to filling up right at WDW and the tank still sits at full. Just wondering. Not sure which exits on the return to MCO have easy stop and fill stations. Thanks for sharing any recent experiences at Dollar.

I have rented four cars from three different companies (including Dollar) in the last three months and I have not been asked for a gas receipt...in fact, I have never been asked for one in my life!

I was asked for one in Tampa. When I couldn't provide one they tried to charge me. I stood my ground as I knew it was full. (The receipt printer at the pump was broken) They backed down....
