RETURN TO THE WORLD
PART V
MAY 29: EPCOT
Arrived at opening and me and Tigger took turns on SE. Pooh refused to ride. Stopped by Ice Station Cool. Pooh was grumpy and did not want to do anything but SHOP in the WS. Hard to figure kids out sometimes. Did the Dog-gone maze and really enjoyed the flowers and topiaries. Just beautiful! Started the WS at UK and had an early lunch of fish and chips. Meandered around the world and allowed Pooh to shop at Morocco, China, and Mexico. Did the Kidcot at each country and also the passport. Pooh enjoyed this. The locations of the Kidcot stations are extremely interesting. Disney makes sure the kids see the goodies for sale in each country. Had our last Mickey Bars and last shopping at Mousegear. Still hot! Back to resort for long swim and eat-in supper. Started packing up and getting ready for home. Cant believe our trip is over! Did a good job on relaxing today!
FINAL THOUGHTS
We had an uneventful trip home and arrived home safely. Not near as tired as we were last trip! We did much better on the relaxing. The portable DVD player again scored a high mark. Pooh was very quiet all the way home. We had a wonderful trip even though the heat and the crowds were terrible. We spent a lot of time at MK because of Poohs age and this was a good choice. She has grown up so much since last year! She was not very interested in autographs this time around. Of course, every character we saw was covered up with people. We enjoyed collecting pressed pennies and Pooh discovered pins. Our favorite meal was OHanas. Most magical moment was Spectro and Wishes. We really enjoyed our resort pool and spent a lot of time there. I knew it would be more crowded than September, but was surprised at the crowds. Thanks to all the information I got on these boards, we managed very well. THANKS!
