Return to Pop and First stay at Hard Rock!

Day 1

Sarah-Friend of many years...

I woke at 4.30am and done the last bits of packing,cooked some sausage rolls (jack wont eat the food on a plane) Straightened my hair then woke jack at 5.20am. My lovely sister picked us up at 6.00am put the cases in the car while i made sure all the switches were off and we were locked up and we set off for Birmingham Airport.

We arrived at 6.15am and just as we pulled up i had a call from Sarah as we were meeting her there saying that she was in the queue for check in.
Met Sarah checked in. We booked through First Choice and were on flight TOM0258. I was in seat 18E Jack was seat 18C. Looked in a few shops then went through security i set the beeper off and we agreed it must be my trousers, we then went to boots to buy water for the flight and some fruit for Jack and then Weatherspoons where i had a half of cider,Sarah had a lager shandy and Jack a J20.

We started to board on time and were on our way on time. When the entertainment started we watched Gavin and Stacy,The Simpsons and Outnumbered. Some of the films were The Tooth Fairy Harry Potter and Avatar.
Jacks meal was Fishfingers mash and peas,A Harvest chew bar and Orange Juice.We had Beef and Ale, Mash, Carrots, Broccolli, Cheese and biscuits,Bread roll and Chocolate cake.
We played some games Sarah had a sleep i thought i had a sleep but found out that i hadn't when i checked back on my i pod.
Before landing we had a wrap with cheese and spring roll, a scone and jam and water, Jack had a Jam sandwich a kitkat, satsuma and orange juice.

We landed at 1.30pm got a Mickey and Pluto stamp put on all our passports at security we then got our luggage when we got outside it was 36 degrees we went to the car hire and i waited with the luggage whilst Sarah got the car.
We got out nice and quick choose a car and headed off to Pop Century. Got to Check in just before 4pm. Jacks presents had been delivered to the hotel which were a Jeff Hardy T-Shirt and a Christian Cage Hat. He was really pleased as he only knew he was getting the t-shirt.

When we checked in we were put in 50's block but asked if we could have either the 80's or 90's buildings so she very kindly placed us in 90's on the first floor facing the computer pool (if the bushes were not in the way) Room 8163.

We drove round dumped the luggage in our room and went to fill up mugs we were going to go to hollywood studios but Jack wanted to go to the pool and as it was so hot we chose the pool.we got dressed and headed to pool but they had just closed it as there was a storm not far away so we just put some clothes on top went for some Chilli Cheese fries when we finished the pools were open we went in the Hippy Dippy pool at first but it was abit chilly in there so we went to the computer pool. we stayed there for an hour then went back to the room showered and unpacked and went to bed exhausted.
