DH - Rick - 48 (Disney Vacation ATM Machine)
DW - Julia - 41 (Obsessive Ticket Holder..."The man might get me")
DS - Matthew - 14 (Living 12 Nights Without A Computer)
DD - Nicole - 12 (VMK Geek)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 5
Breakfast at the Villa then off to The Magic Kingdom under the watchful eye of Sergeant Major Patton who made all the others "commando" it through the park.!!
Within 2 hours we had been on Pirates,Big Thunder, haunted Mansion ,Small World,Philharmagic and Snow White..wheeew!
Then...a major disaster when the officer in command discovered that DW had not brought her watch ("How will we manage the fast passes"...was DH's cry!).
The answer lay in Tinks Treasures...A new watch for Nicole ..$12.95
Now that the time schedule was back on track it was off to Tommorow Land and the Transit Authority.
Cosmic Rays for lunch which was fine.
Buzz Lightyear and Carousel of Progress was enjoyed (as always).Virtually no line-ups. Then decided to head home for a swim (but had to stop off at Main St first to pick up some Carmel Fudge...It was horrible!..lol!
.
After arriving at Villa we swam, showered then headed of to The Beach Club to eat at Beaches and Cream. Excellent Onion Rings and a Giant Banana Split (Burgers were'nt bad either). Table next to use ordered "The Kitchen Sink" which is absolutely massive and we doubt if the 4 folk sitting at this table would be able to finish it (they were still plugging away at it when we left).
The rain has started to fall so we were beginning to have doubts as to whether our Illuminations Cruise would take place.
We were told by the Cruise staff to wait an hour then check back (because the rain can stop and start so fast). We wait inside the Yacht Club lobby.
Matthew has decided that this is where he would like to stay (I wish !).
When the time came for our cruise ,thankfully the rain had stopped so we proceeded to the dock to meet Captain Ron who was very friendly (although a little over the top). The Cruise and fireworks was fabulous and worth every cent ($140).We had the boat to ourselves and it docks in front of the bridge between UK and France.
Favourites
All agreed it was the cruise
