Return of the Lotion?

I checked in to Caribbean Beach today and was surprised to find ye olde single use bottle of lotion in my room. When I was here in September they didn't have them and when I was asked was told they were eliminated. Perhaps enough complaints?
 
I can confirm a lotion sighting as well. My family was staying in a Boulder Ridge Villas studio at Wilderness Lodge last weekend with daily housekeeping and we had all the lotion we asked for. I was ready to give grouchy feedback about dry skin....

Our first night was at Pop Century, no lotion there of course, but that's to be expected in the Values, right?
 

We were AKL Jambo last week in Oct. and had lotion. I put it in my bag and it was replaced the next day. I asked for pen and paper and was given 3 sets.
 
People have been posting elsewhere (maybe on DVC boards) about no pen or paper.
 
We checked out of CR this morning and we had lotion (plus shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, a vanity kit and a shower cap). I really miss the pen and paper though!

I believe you got bad info from the outset. There as a stock issue but that doesn't equate to eliminated. Some resorts never ran out and always had it
 
If that were the case, some transparency would have been helpful. Then again, transparency is far from Disney's style.
Yep. Biggest issue is they don't spread the proper information to those who you were asking. Compound with that for some reason they do not want a CM to ever say "I don't know" Seems guessing, coming up with their own answer is better (to the powers in charge) than saying "I'm not sure". So, the front line CM is left to just come up with a good answer, even if it's wrong. If the resort was out, the assumption of the CM asked could be "it's gone". Why it was out is as much an unknown too. H20 went through some issues for a while so it is possibly a source problem.
