We are going June 26 return July1 Bahama double dip.
12:30 OK return flight using Quiksilver tours with 9 am pick up time and flying Southwest 12:30 departure.

It is about 45-50 minutes from port to the airport - mention to the shuttle driver that you have a 12:30 flight - you should be fine.

Should be fine but why wait until 9am? We take the 12:30 SW flight but usually off long before 9am. You'll still be fine...but it cuts it a little close if someone is late or there are any snags.

We've had flights out as early at 11:30 a.m. But we get off the ship by 8 a.m. for those! If you are taking Disney buses, mention to guest services that you have an early flight.

Our flight is at 12:55 pm & we are taking DCL bus. What would mentioning it to guest services do?

Mentioning it to guest services wouldn't do anything. There is no disembarkation system on Disney, so no priority disembarkation for those with early flights like many other cruise lines. If you want off early, line up early, well before disembarkation starts.

We've always in the past booked 1:30 - 2pm flights and our wait at the airport seems SO long. We've almost always arrived at MCO around 11:00.
We booked a 12:30 on Jet Blue for our DD 5 nighter in May.

On our cruise, we had friends that had early/early flights, they showed their tickets to guest services and were told not to put out their luggage the night before but meet at a special time (6:30) to have their family checked through. That is what our cabin steward said as well, it may not be a written policy but I do know that Disney tries to help the few that have to have early flights out, they just don't want a lot of passengers making those early reservations or it could be trouble.

We just used DCL transportation to the airport from the New Years cruise, our flight was at 12:50 on SW. We got off the ship about 8:45, picked up luggage, through customs and onto bus about 9. Was at the airport and luggage dropped off by 10:30.

So you should be fine.

This is NOT true! Guest services does indeed make special arrangements for those with early flights (like those flying overseas or to California might have). I have not only seen it, but have had friends who had to do so!
