once upon a time I had a folder full of free return address labels I received thru the mail I haven't received any in a few years I donate to charities do they no longer send them out
does anyone know where I can sign up for some free return address labels

They are very easy to make on a home computer.
I still get them from some charitable organizations.

I would definitely make them at home. You would have to buy the labels but they have so many uses. I also use them as "This book belongs to" labels. They are easy to make if you can use Word or Publisher. Or if you are comfortable, send me a PM with the info and I'll make you a document. I do it all the time. :)

OMG - Paralyzed Veterans of America and buddy they NEVER, ever leave you alone!!! On the plus side they also mail a nickle with it.

Print your own - forget about that. You have to buy the sheets and the ink - no thanks! Free is the way to go!

I have more than I will ever use in my lifetime. My college sends them to me, a charity we donated to thru church sends them too and just random charities that I don't donate to have sent them.

Yep, once you donate - your name and address gets shared and what a shame too. DS received money from his grandpa when he passed away and donated it in his memory. Gpa was a vet. navy man, so DS got a cashiers check with his name & address on it, sent it to Paralyzed Veterans of America and they have NOT stopped in 6 years!!! They shared his name & address and now were inundated with charities all the time! DS was 7yrs. old at the time.

Thank you for all your help they are amazing

Ironically I have three sets next to me right now that I was debating whether to keep or recycle, as I too feel like I may already have a lifetime supply. These three happen to all be from charities I have not donated to.

I get them from time to time in the mail, unsolicited. I do use them, and because they were sent unsolicited, and often from sketchy charities, I do not send money. They are sent with my legal first name, which I do not use.
But I also have a rubber stamp that I use most often.

We get them, from Easter Seals most recently I think, but haven't donated to any of the orgs that send them in years. It's crazy.

I hand write the return address. But then I don't send a lot of mail these days.

We never run out. I'm not even sure who sends them, aside from St. Judes.

Suddenly my volume of mail has spiked. I used to buy a roll of 100 stamps at a time, then I started buying 20 at a time, and I kept running out, so last time I bought another 100 stamp roll.
I think 2 things have prompted that. First, I have had a rash of "one time" only expenses, or bills form companies that are too small to have electronic payment systems so I have had to mail a check.
And I have gone back to sending birthday cards in the mail because it seems that every electronic greeting card I have sent or received in the last year was flagged by my Security Software as having a virus or malware (most frequently it changes my default search engine to ask.com)

I haven't seen a cheque in so long I'd almost forgotten how to spell it the Aussie way lol.

Thankfully most of my bills are payable online so need to hit the post office - which is an awful place to spend time in.

I still get them several times a year (I usually donate $15 to one charity I like annually, and they keep sending me more). My Mom gets them at my address at least every other week, and she has been dead for over two years, and never got mail here until after she died when I forwarded everything here so I could deal with the estate. So I use her return address labels all the time, too.
