I have an ADR for Akershus at 8:15 am. The night before, we will be at MK watching Wishes at 9:00. I figure it will be at least 11 before we get back to our townhouse and get in the bed. I can only imagine the next morning when we need to leave at 7:30 to get to our ADR. The only times available now for Akershus are 9:40 and 10:45. I REALLY don't want to waste valuable park time eating but I also don't want to listen to whining all morning! This will be our only day at EP and my kids are 6 & 5.

Any advice?

Is this your only character meal? Personally, I like to make a big deal out of character meals and get the kids excited. They wear their princess dresses...etc. But I may not be the person to ask because the only character breakfast that I enjoy is the Tusker House at Animal Kingdom (such awesome food!). I prefer dinner and lunches with characters and breakfast at the hotel food court or 'grab and go'.

I forgot to add...Never under estimate how tired you will be the next morning after a late night at the parks...give yourself some time to be lazy...You're on vacation! :) EPCOT is the perfect park to follow up a late night with because it opens later, but you will want to get a Fastpass immediately because Testrack and Soarin' normally do not have Fastpasses left after 10 or 11 am during the high season.
