Resturants with Illuminations view?

Hi,
Can someone tell me which resturants would have a good view of Illuminations? What time should I try securing an ADR for?

The only restaurants with excellent views are Rose & Crown (outdoor patio) and La Hacienda de San Angel (indoors). At neither restaurant do 100% of the tables have a view, and you are not guaranteed one. At Rose & Crown if you are inside the restaurant they allow you to go outside to watch.

You can have varying views, usually not good ones, from Chefs de France, Tokyo Dining and Bistro de Paris, but none of these restaurants pipe the sound in.

As TDC Nala explained, not many of the restaurants have views and you're not guaranteed a table where you can see Illuminations.

I think the better bet is to book your meal far enough in advance on the show time so you can finish your meal and then find a good spot outside to watch it.

We were fortunate enough to have a second row from the window table at La Hacienda. Our reservation was for 8:15. The view was spectacular, I'm glad we were able to experience the fireworks from here at least once.

We were there on 12/19 with a 7:45 ADR at La Hacienda. We got there a bit late and were probably seated at 8 p.m. In the main room with an elevated booth. Illuminations was at 9:30 that night and it was a GREAT place to see Illuminations. It seemed that we could see everything except the high fireworks at the end.

And we thought the restaurant and the service were great. Delicious food! Lovely server named Lourdes. Great start to our trip. Highly recommend it.

I think since this is our first visit to Disney, I'll just try to secure a spot outside. I'd hate to miss it if we didn't get the right table.

I was so happy to see this question. I was just getting ready to ask it myself. We have 8:00 reservations in March at La Hacienda. Hoping to see Illuminations from the restaurant.
