Resturant Recommendations

Alright so we are done to about 2.5 months before our trip to DL!!! I would like to get advice on where to eat and not to eat while there. We will have a 3.5 year old so please keep that in mind with your help! Also, if you know how soon we can make a reservation please let me know!

Where are you staying? Do you want to do character meals??

For Disneyland I would plan counter service type meals at off peak times (this is what we do French Market is really good for lunch (go around 11:00-11:30)..they have really good Kids mac and cheese. I would say River Belle Terrace but I don't know how much of your trip it will be open (good breakfast...mickey pancakes). We like Carnation Cafe on Main Street for breakfast also (especially during the rope drop 1/2 hour during weekdays....eat while only Main Street is open and then you are done right at rope drop). We have done the Minnie's Breakfast at Plaza Inn three times (last one was last Dec. and it was not worth the money in my opinion...crowded, sat outside and it was cold, had to basically beg the CM to get the characters to come to our table...that being said I know many others love this meal and have had great experiences (we liked it the first two times)).

DCA...we really like the Boudin Bakerty place for lunch. Or you could go to White Water Snacks in the GCH...it has great kid meals.

Good luck...oh you can make reservations (PS) 60 days from when you want them and it is not like WDW where you get a PS number they just give you a time and you check in with your name.

For lunch I would recommend the Hungry Bear in Critter Country. It is a counter service location on the river, and if your child loves animals, you will all love watching the ducks in the river. Eat upstairs to have a great view of the Mark Twain when it goes by or downstairs to see the ducks!
