resturant for dinner advice

Ok... made some ADR today and am going to call tomorrow to change it up a bit if we can to accomodate our schedule a little better.

But my question is.. we will be arriving on a Friday and will need a place for dinner. We have 1 sit down meal left on our dining plan and need help with a good place to eat.

It will be me, dh, dd who is 4.5 and a 2 month old.

So far, we have booked Tusker house for breakfast, Akershus for breakfast, CRT for dinner and Crystal palace for dinner.

We are going to cancel Chefs Mickey as I heard the meals are not that good. so what a good place for a 4.5 year old for dinner???/

I wouldn't cancel Chef Mickey, it's my favourite! I don't understand why some people dont like it. I've been many times, there's a huge buffet with lots of choice and it's always very good. And the character interaction is second to none, I'd be shocked if your 4.5 yr old didn't love it! Seriously, if you cancel it, you'll really miss out!

Garden Grill! Our 4year old daughter LOVES it! She was asking just yesterday, if we could go have dinner at Garden Grill. It's character dining, amazing food and just a good time!

Are you going to a park that day? If not I would stick with CM. We had dinner there last week and it was good. The characters were great and I think it would be a great way to start off your trip

You have to take food reviews with a HUGE grain of salt.

People hate/love every place at WDW, unless the review goes into specific details I don't even count it. And if it does...I still try it if the menu appeals to me.

I have only been disappointed once...Boma. Didn't research enough to know why people "loved" this place. (we hated it)

So I say if the menu appeals to you and the kids keep it. We love CMs. The food is good in our opinion (and we know food if you know what I mean )
Yes it is buffet foods, but I think a notch better.
