Hi All,

As the title says has another used resturant.com to buy discounted food prices in restuarants when your on holiday in Orlando.

I will appreicate your comments on your experiences good or bad. As I was thinking of using this service on my solo trip in 2011.

Thanks

Hi Maureen

I have bought my restaurant.com vouchers for House of Blues in DTD. Not used it yet!

I registered on their site using the Hotel zip code and area as my own! Got emails with huge discounts $25 for $3 it then went down to $25 for $2 :confused3

Have heard good reports and read one bad. But spending $3 for $25 off (there is a minimum spend of $35 I think) not much too lose. Pick a restaurant that appeals to you and I'm sure you'll be fine :goodvibes

There are others here who have used before with no problems.

HTH :flower3:

I have used them at House of Blues at DTD. No problems at all, really good value!

I have two $25.00 vouchers for HOB can I use them together or will they only take one per visit

You can only use one per visit - think terms are one per month per restaurant

We used one at HOB no problems.

Need to check terms carefully eg I think HOB includes drinks so even a solo diner could reach $35 minimum spend required.

Thanks for all your reply's;).

I will be using the site for my trip in November 2011.

If anyone has got or buys one of these HOB vouchers could you let me know if it does include drinks? If so, it would be better value for me to buy a higher valued certificate! thanks! :)

Yes, you can. Or at least that was the policy at the time we went in October. If that is your intention, then it would be a good idea to check the terms and conditions to make sure nothing has changed. Unless it is specifically excluded, you can use it to pay your total bill - which includes drinks.

In fact, we struggled to spend our minimum to redeem the voucher and the waiter suggested a glass of wine to boost the total. I was too full to manage so I had him ring up a coffee and not bring it, but he was aware from when we were seated that we had a certificate so he wouldn't have suggested it if alcohol was excluded.

If you think you will have no trouble spending the $100 then get the better certificate as you can only use one per month so doubling up with two of the cheaper ones won't be any use to you.

Can you use the House of Blues certificate for the Gospel Brunch ?

No, unfortunately that is one of the few exclusions on this one

I am keen to try one anyway, but not sure how my DD will enjoy it. It's said to be great fun!

Hi, when you buy the vouchers do you guys put in your actual billing address for your bank card when paying or have you still left it as the florida one?
Thanks

When I set mine up I used the POFQ address and have left it that way. I emailed restaurant.com to check and they said it wouldn't be a problem. I paid on my card and had no hassles whatsoever as promised. They do also suggest, as it appears you are saying, that you can use their headoffice address.

Thanks 2Tiggies thats great im off to buy a voucher for the HOB then as it seems like a great offer and its one of the places ive been wanting to try for a while.

Do you have the current code (I think it's 70% off at the moment)?
