I am not trying to sound stupid.....but how are the restrooms at the parks, are there plenty, are they reasonably clean, are they spread out so you are not backtracking? :confused3

We've never had a problem finding one when we needed one. We've also usually found them in a clean state. The ones nearest things like Kali and Splash pretty much always have wet floors from everyone coming in to try to dry off. :)

Once in a while you find one that is soooo unclean that you just wonder if someone just didn't show up for work that day? :confused3 Thankfully, we've found that to be the exception.

I have become somewhat of an expert on Disney restrooms. I have IBS, so I have had to find restrooms at the most inopportune moments. There are plenty of restrooms in the parks - near every major attraction, at the front of each park, outside the gates of each park (for those times you really have to go while waiting for the bus, tram, etc.) They are almost always clean, too.

Personally, I've found that some restrooms in the Magic Kingdom aren't always the cleanest. I've also found that the restrooms in Epcot are generally pretty clean, especially the ones located near the Garden Grill.

WDW has them marked very clearly on the park maps too - I love how Disney makes it easy to find the restrooms!

We've found that the restrooms near Ariel's grotto tend to be wet as well, from the kids playing in the fountain playground. Also, for some reason, we've found the restroom at WS in the United Kingdom pavilion has been a bit more dirty than the other restrooms. Not horribly so, but just a bit unclean. I think it's used a lot by everyone who comes in the International Gateway.

I have never had a problem finding a rest room...and I am the rest room Queen :rotfl2: (or so my family says)

They are easily marked and accessible.

There are a ton of restrooms and some that are not as crowded. At MK, we like the one in Tomorrowland. It is beside Space Mountain and under where the skybuckets used to be. They're usually not crowded and very clean. At Epcot, there is one beside the First Aid station that is hardly ever crowded. I cannot think of any like this at the other two parks.

On my last trip I noticed restroom placement a lot more than in my younger days! I had to do some backtracking just because I wanted to be sure of finding one -- going back to one I'd been at before. Sometimes they seemed kind of few and far between when my feet were aching near the end of the day! They are spread out throughout the park, and not all of them are on the map. We found some inside restaurant (including CS) buildings that weren't on the map. They aren't as easy to find and as well-marked as the ones at Universal. But there are plenty -- generally clean (except upon occasion when some slob hasn't used the facilities properly -- as happens in all public restrooms unfortunately). Also it's fun to note the theme decor in them! You can always ask a CM for the closest one.
