My wife and I have done Disney many of times, but this is the first time doing Disney with our 2 year old son. Are the Restrooms at the parks all diaper changing friendly or are there ones we should stay away from? Are there any/many family restrooms?

Most all are child friendly. If I am near the Baby Care Center I usually use that over a restroom. Also we try to use the Family/Companion Restrooms. It is alot easier to roll the stroller into the Family Restroom and have my husband come in to help.
Have Fun!

I agree w/the pp, the first thing we do when we get off the plane is try to find the family restroom, it's just so much easier.
I liked to get those disposable "chux" pads, they were always longer than the changing pad. I'd make ziplock bags w/ a chux and a diaper and just grab a couple for the day w/ the wipes and cream.
I would say most of the restrooms around the parks are ok, the baby care centers are the best--probably avoid most of the restaurant rest rooms for diaper changes, in my experience they have been the most cramped and inconvenient(I'm thinking of LTT in particular!)

I would just avoid the restrooms in most of the sit-down restaurants as they tend to be small, somewhat dirtier (from experience) and some do not have changing tables at all. The ones inside the parks all have changing tables that I can think of, in both the mens and womens bathrooms. They are usually quite large in size and kept very clean.

Also, the previous poster is right regarding family bathrooms. Disney only has companion bathrooms, and while a few of these have changing tables (I know a few in the Epcot World Showcase do, as does the one near Everest in AK) most of them do not -they are mainly for use by people who need the extra space of a companion bathroom (though some are VERY tiny) or are traveling with a party who could use assitance, such as a disabled person, or a parent traveling alone with several children, for example. I don't think I've seen a single companion restroom in MK with a changing table.

As others have mentioned, if you find yourself near the baby care center in a park (there is only one per park, not always convenient to travel back to for a diaper change) those are great to use and are staffed by helpful CM's.

As was already mentioned, many of the Companion Restrooms do not have any changing table.
All of the regular restrooms do have changing tables (I guess, I can't say all the men's rooms do because I have not been in any of the men's rooms, but all the ladies rooms do).

Every men's restroom I've been in at Disney has a changing table. They seem to most often get used to hold bags, backpacks, etc.; seems they must not get much use for their intended purpose! :rotfl:

The baby care centers are great, but do note that the DHS center does not have an adult restroom. DH, DS and I dashed in there for a diaper change and pit stop, only to find out that I had to go to the other side of the main entrance area to use the restroom. (Being pregnant and having held it for a while already, I made the dash while DH did the diaper!) There is a very low-to-the-ground toddler potty, but none for adults.

there is a family rest room at MCO, that's the one I try to use. I'm not sure which terminal we usually fly into but we usually go Cont., Jet Blue or Air Tran from EWR or PHL.
