Restrictions for free Pizza meal at HIFS

I spoke with the sales department at the HIFS today and they informed me that the coupons for the free meal at the Pizza Hut Express are intended as a referral for families who have not already booked their reservations with HIFS. Therefore, if you are considering staying at HIFS, but have not made your reservation yet, please feel free to e-mail if you have questions about the hotel or would like a coupon for the free pizza meal ( 1 medium 1 topping pizza, an order of breadsticks and a 2 liter coke). When you make your reservation, you can then tell them that you have a coupon for the free pizza meal. If you would like a coupon and have not made a reservation yet, please e-mail me at kerrbe01@aol.com and I would be happy to try and answer any questions you might have about the hotel or provide you with more information about the coupon, which is a referral program. I hope this clears up some confusion about the coupons!

Are they not honoring the coupons at all if people have their reservations already? I hope they do realize that people could cancel and turn around and make a new reservation (depending on the time of year you are going). I'm wondering if this is a result from the boards here?

The sales department at HIFS is aware of the DIS board and of our entries regarding the free pizza meals. They explained that the intent of the referral program is to bring new business to the hotel rather than offering the coupons to families who already have reservations. They did not say that they would not honor coupons already distributed.

I hope that the sales dept. also recognizes that it is in their best interest for families to enjoy their stay and highly praise HIFS! Getting free pizza will certainly enhance my visit! I am very grateful for the coupon but I doubt that pizza could have swayed my decision to stay there or not! OK, HIFS - think forest (general customer satisfaction) not trees (which order things happen in)!
