Our only restricted resale points are at BLT, ( bought right after the first restriction date) and I originally booked our September stay at BLT with those points. I have since modified and changed resorts and dates a few times, so I really don’t know what points are used for my September visit. Plus, we now have a one bedroom at BCV and so, there are definitely non restricted points in the mix of points since the first reservation was for a BLT standard studio.

Will the mix of points be problematic for me to try to book the MM during that time? I booked before MM dates were announced.

Are your points all under one membership? As long as the membership has a blue card, it won’t matter that some of those points used are restricted.

I had my January reservation booked on my unqualified SSR points, but since my membership had RIV points that made it a blue card membership, I had no problem getting AK MM tickets!

Points on a reservation don't qualify you for anything. Membership status does. In other words, you're either blue card or you're not.

Ok! Thank you! Only one membership, and it has a blue card.

As mentioned it doesn't matter about the reservation - only the status of your membership and if you qualify for MM. You can have a resort cash room booked and reserve MM in the early booking as long as you have a qualifying membership.

That’s not exactly true. The very first restriction, which it sounds like is what applies to the points in question, only disallows use for Disney and Concierge Collections. That is done by particular points.

But that restriction doesn’t apply to MM, anyway, those points are grandfathered into the blue card/white card business.
