Hi all,

Ok, I know this is the type of thing that's discussed a lot - I'm just trying to put together a rough plan for our eating when we go this coming October.

I've recently discovered that Walt's isn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays. And this is apparently a regular thing? Are there any of the following restaurants with a regular 'closed' time (that we KNOW about - not just random closing like some counter service places).

Blue Lagoon
Agrabah Cafe

I'm assuming Inventions, Cafe Mickey and King Ludwigs are open every day (unless any refurbishment or exceptional circumstances!) ?

Second question - Referring back to Blue Lagoon, Agrabah Cafe AND Walts, and keeping in mind that the park - if going on last year's timings - will be closing at 8pm on weekdays in October, would any of these be open for early dinner? Do we actually know? Or do we, as I'm expecting, have to wait to phone the reservations line? Experiences welcome!

For what it's worth, I just made our June dining reservations and was told Agrabah Cafe is not open on Monday or Tuesdays either AND only for lunch. It appears to be a slow-season thing, so I don't know if October would fall under that or not, but you should have a back-up plan just in case!

I did not find that info anywhere before calling and was very surprised.

Ooo thank you. That works out quite well funnily enough because there's 5 of us going, and 3 of us want to go to Walts while the other 2 go to Agrabah! So I'll pencil that in for our Wednesday lunch me thinks!

We had to book Cafe Mickey for dinner instead and I wasn't actually interested in eating there. Oh well!

What about Kind Ludwigs as an alternative to Cafe Mickey? We ate there in March and ended up changing our plans to go there again before we left because we liked it so much!

Funny you should suggest that because I just reworked our plans to move Walt's to our last night instead of Cafe Mickey and add Ludwig where Walt's was I thought the menu looked great and wanted to be in the Village that night!

Lol great! We were impressed and if you get there between 5pm and 7pm it's happy hour in the bar. So you can get 2 for 1 on soft drinks, beer and I THINK wine, pay at the bar, and then take them through to the restaurant....

We have always found Agrabah to have slightly erratic opening hours and when we've been before when the park was closing around 7pm/8pm we have only been able to get lunch at Walts but that was a few years ago now so it may have changed. I notice from the website above that both Walts and Blue Lagoon are currently open for dinner on the days they are open but closing time is currently much later.

Been having a look at that link and it SEEMS Hakkuna Matata, certainly during non-peak seasons, is closed every Wednesday and Thursday.....

Out of interest, has anyone ever used this site to help plan their restaurants and found it accurate? It will be VERY useful if it IS accurate? Means I can do lots of planning before phoning the reservations line, and look at which in-park restaurants might be open for an early evening meal! AND helps with the places we want to go to that don't take reservation.....!
