Restaurants with amazing interiors

From an atmosphere perspective: BOG, CRT, Akershus, San Angel, Coral Reef, Sci Fi, T-rex, Rainforest

I also think Crystal Palace is special. It's so light and bright in there, and has such a warm feeling (maybe some of this is nostalgia).

Places for unique theme:
Sanaa
Biergarten
San Angel
Ohana
50s Prime Time
Sci Fi
Garden Grill
Coral Reef
Cinderella Royal Table
Be Our Guest

For amazing views: California Grill

I've read the noise levels are quite high in some of well themed restaurants....
Can you still hold a conversation?!

Raglan Road (because of the live entertainment) & T-Rex (the kids & the meteor shower) can both be a challenge. Not for quiet dinners. But I think RR at least is worth it. I haven't had a problem in any of the other highly-themed restaurants mentioned above.

Both DH and I have hearing loss, and I know I had trouble hearing others at the table in BOG, T-Rex, and in food court type venues.

I had avoided Coral Reef for years because the reviews for the food are not great but I went with my DS10 because I knew he would love the tank. We ended up getting a seat right next to the tank and the view was amazing. The food was fine. I definitely would not go back for the food, although my son loved his meal, but I would definitely go back for the view of the tank.

Same here. We've booked Coral Reef for our next trip strictly for the DGDs. It's a pretty spectacular setting, worth the risk on the cuisine. ;)

Restaurant Marrakesh and San Angel Inn at Epcot; and Sci-Fi at Hollywood Studios get my vote.

Restaurant Marrakesh wasn't mentioned much. Take the Morocco pavilion and amp up the intricate detail work, and you have the restaurant interior. It's worth eating there for the decor alone. The food's not bad either. It's not great, but it's decent.

I remember telling my server at Yak and Yeti that, considering all the interesting memorabilia in the restaurant, they should give tours to explain what some of the things were. Sadly, even he didn't know what most things were.

Be Our Guest is really well done. How about Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge? The Lodge is so pretty.

I've just looked this up on YouTube & thought it was a bit like being in a cave with treasures
What a shame the server wasn't knowledgeable

I would definitely vote Sanaa for pretty interior (though the view is what takes it away) and the food was pretty good as well. Lunch would probably be a better time to go, however.

I rally liked the Skippers Canteen when I went last February. Each seating area is differently themed, but you have to take a look at the menu to see if you like it.
