Restaurants With a Wow Factor

If, by "Disney", you mean kitschy and over-the-top Disney, you should be looking at Hoop De Do Review. For kitschy, but not necessarily "Disney", you should be looking at Whispering Canyon Cafe, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sci-Fi.

If you mean "unique", you should be looking at character experiences like BOG dinner or Crystal Palace.

If you mean "an experience", you should be considering Liberty Tree Tavern, Skipper's Cafe, any of the World Showcase restaurants, or any of the resort signatures dining restaurants.

If they have park tickets - Cinderella's Royal Table? (not sure of what is on the vegetarian menu), BOG.
Or the new restaurant opening at the Rivera - Topolino or the new one at Coronado - Toledo.
Like others have mentioned - Cali Grill is a great option (fireworks viewing)
Happy planning!! pixiedust:

Kungaloosh! Thanks for the insights. I loved Skippers Canteen - thinking to bring the whole crew there for the butterfly room.

You know, I may opt for the place at Coronado. I've heard great reviews of it. Thanks for the idea!

We recently went to Toledo in the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs and had excellent food but just so-so service. The menu is very small, so I would suggest looking online before you decide. It's a beautiful restaurant with an energetic vibe and a gorgeous bar (the Dahlia) next to it. The views are great if you are seated near a window. The wait between appetizers and entrees was pretty long - didn't bother us but others seem to care about that kind of thing. I had the golden tilefish and my husband had the hangar steak; we both loved our entrees. The wine list is pretty good too.

I'll check out the menu. Thanks.

By that time Topolino’s Terrace and the new Space 220 restaurant in Epcot will be open. There’s also the new Japanese restaurant that seems like it would have good vegetarian options, although you’d have to check into that.

Looking for suggestions for a restaurant with a lot of Disney magic. My two sons and I are planning a trip in September. One son and his GF (who is a Disney newbie) will be arriving earlier than the other and I want to treat them to something special. I'm going to try to get California Grill for all 6 of us later in the trip, but any suggestions for an adult dinner with lots of the Disney feel? She is a vegetarian by the way, so that is a consideration. TIA

I'm a vegan and when I went this summer I really enjoyed Sci-Fi, 50's Prime Time (in fact when I would go before being a vegan, their vegetarian/vegan option would always be my go-to,) Be Our Guest, and Skipper Canteen. I think these were all the table service places I went to and they were all so charming and the food was very good. Sci-Fi and Skipper Canteen by far had the most Veggie options on their menu, so maybe look into those?

Good luck!
