Taking the kids this year and doing the dining plan. Have thought of a few places to eat, was wondering if I could get some response on what people think. I haven't been to Disney in 10 years so things change.

1. Whispering Canyon Cafe
2. Coral Reef
3. Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
4. Donald's Breakfastosaurus

Thanks alot

I've been to Chef Mickeys and Donalds Breakfastosaurus (used to work there!) and Chef Mickeys is the best character meal I've every been to! If you have girls you might want to consider Cinderellas Royal Table in the castle with the princesses.

HTH! Have fun!:thumbsup2

Oh! Also, I know they will be changing things around at AK so I don't know how much longer Breakfastosaurus will be at Restaurantosaurus... They are making Tusker House sit down and moving the character breakfast over there.

When we made our reservaitons for our recent trip I looked at all the menus on Allears.net. We had eaten in many of the restaurants and fast food places, but menus change over the years. We were on the Free dining plan so the trip had to be very well planned - a little too much for us. We always had 2-3 meals in a TS restaurant usually for lunch in the past and never really had to reserve. Reservations are truly necessary with all the dining plans out there now. We made our reservations 3 1/2 months prior to arrival and none were really at normal dinner times for us (5-7 pm). We also couldn't reserve some restaruants we wanted to. I would make reservations soon. One character dinner that we attended was very different than all others we have been to over the years. 1900 Park Fare now has the stepsisters and stepmother. It was the most fun I have ever had at a character meal. Cinderella and the Prince are there too.

You better check asap if you can even get ADRs at coral reef for anytime this year. It books up quick.
