Restaurants that are "experiences"?

All the recent questions have been answered, yes Coral Reef's appeal is that you are seeing into the bottom of the Living Seas. If there are divers in they will usually come over to the window and interact with the diners. I've been diving twice in the Living Seas and one of my favorite things to do is go to the window and take my reg. out and blow kisses to the kids, they love it.

We love Tiffins in AK. Great food and beautiful theming about travel and exploring. We are headed back next week—my 12 year old explicitly asked to make sure we were going again to Tiffins because she loved our first visit there in 2019. And she’s usually a picky eater!
my 10 year old and I went last summer for the first time. She's a mac n cheese and chicken nuggets typical kid. She absolutely loved the TIffins taco for lunch, and we split the lion king desert. Excellent experience and we will go again this year with the rest of the family. We love doing the higher end places DIS has and just doing apps/salad/desert. I hate being stuffed, and I like trying multiple things.

I enjoy Be Our Guest; I'm probably the only one in my family that likes it, but my family has indulged me on every trip.

Garden Grill is a family favorite. The character interaction and scenes in the rotating restaurant are great.

If you like character interaction, 1900 Park Fair is among the best. The step-sisters are hilarious.

Akershus will always have a special place in my heart since it was my daughter's first character meal, and one of the princesses (Ariel, her favorite at the time) made this one so special.

We enjoy the T-Rex as well.

Ohh...I have to agree with 1900 Park Fare and the Step Sisters if you like character interaction. We are also been San Angel fans for atmosphere and happen to really enjoy the food. I think I only ever had one off meal there. My son - who has wanted to be a marine biologist forever - loves Coral Reef so we try to do that, too. We are also big fans of Sci Fi and their burgers and atmosphere.

I feel like so many of Disney's restaurants are an experience - they are a theme park.

My favorite restaurant for the experience is California Grill during fireworks (impossible now, but we can dream about the future). I prefer to do a late dinner, like around 7:30 and then by the time you finish dessert you can go out on the balconies and watch the firework show. There is nothing like it.

Our favorites for "experiences" are:

Whispering Canyon
Hoop De Do Review
Raglan Road

Not wanting to threadjack the post about being leery of the jokes at the Skipper Canteen.....

I like the restaurants that are more than food the best. 50's Prime Time, Sci Fi, etc. Even if the food is bad (lookin' at you, Sci Fi). It doesn't have to be cast interaction, it could be immersive decor, or a show like the Biergarten.

We haven't been to WDW for seven years or so--our kids went to college and got jobs. Now we are doing it again this summer the four of us as adults! I will definitely like the Skipper Canteen, I can tell. The 220 looks like it will be cool whenever it opens.

What are other restaurants that are more than food?

Thanks!
If you like the living with the land attraction (which we do) then I definitely recommend the garden grill with part of it rotating through the attraction. The food is decent too.
