We're staying at WBC at the end of the month but are not doing Disney (too many recent trips). Going to Legoland & Universal each for a day and other than that we plan to just relax at the hotel. I don't cook on vacation so I'm looking for places to eat out nearby that are easy to get to. Would love some non-chain restaurants or at least ones that we don't have here in MA (i.e. no Fridays, Chilis, or Applebees). Have 3 picky kids with us and we will have a car.

Thanks!

WCB -Wyndham Bonnet Creek - a timeshare adjacent to Caribbean Beach Resort on Disney property.

We like BJ restaurant. It is just down the road on Osceola Pkwy

Restaurant Row in Dr Phillips has lots of great places to eat.

-Rocco Taco is a fun atmosphere, if the kids like Mexican.
-Amura Sushi is similar to Benihana, but locally owned. Kids love it there because they cook in front of you...but ask for the Teppanyaki side of the restaurant. The sushi is also fresh and delish. Look on the internet for specials.
-Tijuana Flats is goood "fast food" mexican. It is a franchise, but not sure if you have it in the North. They also have dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets for the extremely picky eater:-) Inexpensive
-Texas de Brazil, yes it's also a "chain" but it's a meat lover's paradise! And best of all, kids under 5 eat free, kids under 10 are 1/2 price, and if you sign up for their email you will get a coupon for bogo 50% off. LoVe it!
-PioPio has great brazilian food. Don't let the "B" word scare you, the chicken is grilled and melts in your mouth and my 4 picky kids love to eat there. You can also get sides of beans, rice, fried plantains. I'm originally from PA and never had food like this before moving here. I HIGHLY recommend you try this place. Inexpensive

PM me if you have any other questions :-)

Thanks for starting this thread! I was looking on restaurants.com for close restaurants. Anyone try Shogun? We don't have this place locally but have other hibachi restaurants.

Downtown Disney is right down the road (2 min) with lots of restaurant choices.

You can also do some of the resort restaurants. We like Cape May at Beach Club Resort which is also close to WBC.

Millers ale house is kid friendly, budget priced, and has an extensive menu to please everyone

Thanks so much for all the replies! I am making notes on all of them right now.

Anyone know how far it is from WBC to Celebration? Thanks!
