Restaurants for solo traveler

Hello again everybody. Just paid for my March trip and am very happy about it. Going by myself this time and really looking forward to doing what I want. Checking out some of the resorts and eating at restaurants that I have previously missed.

My question is this: What are good restaurants for solo travelers? I have booked reservations for California Grill (my first time there and I'm sooo excited) and BOMA (hands down my favorite restaurant). I've eaten at Sci-Fi Cafe, the 50's cafe, the Brown Derby (the Cobb salad is divine), the Coral Reef, the Land, and the Crystal Palace.

I guess what I'm looking for is a combination of good food, fun or pleasant atmosphere, and a bill that won't completely raid my wallet. Any advice, is as always, greatly appreciated.

Other than the ones you've mentioned, I'd suggest the Chef's de France at lunchtime. Ask for a table by the window (I've always gotten one). It's so much fun to sit there and watch all the people go by. A couple times I've been able to watch the balancing chair act. The 3 course set luncheon is a good buy. Just a word of caution-a few people outside think the windows are one way glass and they come right over and stare in at you and your food.

Teppan Edo and Jiko are my favorites for solo dining. Teppan Edo is great because you can talk with other folks at your table and the chef. At Jiko I ate in the bar area where the server was very nice and attentive. I'll likely be repeating both of those experiences in October on my next trip.

I often see solos at the Jiko counter, and when we ate at Le Cellier last week there was a solo diner at a nearby table. Probably any restaurant is fair game.
