I'm taking my best friend for a surprise 40th birthday trip. I've planned 2 trips for my family now, but I haven't ever planned an adult only trip. We're only staying 2 nights, so we'll have 2 counter credits and 2 table credits on our dining plan. Since we have to make that last the whole time, no signature restaurants for us.
What suggestions would you have for two 40 year olds on an adults only trip? Should I take her to a character meal like Chef Mickey's or Akershus or 1900? Or should I stick with places like The Wave or Ohana or Le Cellier or ...? I've never made my reservations myself - I've always had a travel agent or IPO, but this time I'm renting DVC points so I have to make them myself and I am SOOO nervous about it. Any suggestions for that?
Thanks for any advice!
