We will be coming in late the night before our cruise and staying at the Hyatt. I looked for restaurants we could eat at once we get off the plane and get our room. (We are scheduled to arrive at 8:20pm). It seems that 99.9% places close at 9pm according to the web. Is there no place that stays open after 9pm?

thanks for all your help.

Are you looking for an actual sit-down, table service restaurant? Or just somewhere to get food? There's always McDonalds (open 24 hours).

The Hyatt has a couple of restaurants - Hemisphere (closes at 10PM) and also has McCoy's Bar & Grill (open til midnight, as far as I know).

Have you checked out this (has locations/hours of many eating places at MCO): https://orlandoairports.net/getting-around-mco/shops-restaurants/

There is a Mexican restaraunt that we have gone to a lot in MCO. Can't think of the name. On the Boarder maybe? Not sure of the hours though.

We got to the Food Court area at 9:45 last summer.
It was looking pretty bleak. We were thankful Chick-Fil-A fed us. They closed at 10:00.
The McDonalds was our only other option, I believe. They are 24 hr.

We love the McCoys at the Hyatt, but our kids were tired and hungry. We ate dinner there post cruise and were VERY happy with our meal.
If you want to sit down and eat, that's a good choice.

If you want FOOD, its Chick-Fil-A or McDonalds.

We eat at McCoy's at the Hyatt. The food and service are always very good. I think they stay open pretty late.

There is a Macaroni Grill if you are looking for a sit down place. We got bumped on our flight home from our last cruise and flew home the next morning. In addition to the American Airlines travel vouchers, they paid for hotel rooms and gave us a dinner voucher. We ate our dinner at Macaroni Grill. Good stuff.

In October we land after 7:30pm so we will probably eat at McCoy's , we are staying at the Hyatt. We have
eaten there on a previous pre-cruise stay.

Another vote for McCoy's, reasonable, great service and the pizza is good. Most fast food spots and stores, other than Hudson News, I believe close by 9. McDonalds seemed to be the only fast food option open beyond that time. Not sure about Chilis.

The MCO Hyatt also has room service, which would be especially convenient if arriving in the late evening, because you can unpack as needed and get everyone ready for bed & for tomorrow as the food is being prepared, then eat dinner in the room & then quickly go to sleep.

That's the most convenient route & what I would do, rather than going to a restaurant at the end of a long travel day & the night before the big cruise.

According to the website Macaroni Grill is in the "closes at 9:00" group.

We didn't feel like eating at a place in the airport (and since we got to our room about 9:00 pm weren't even sure if anything would be open) so we went to McCoy's since it was close. Best. burger. ever. I don't typically order burgers but it sounded good and it definitely was. It's a casual atmosphere, reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant, good and friendly service and the food was great. I would recommend it (and the restaurant on the top floor for breakfast. Delicious avocado egg mixture).

We got in late in June too. The food court had Chick Fil A and McDonald's still open. Panda Express was shutting down. It was slim pickins.
We ate at the Chili's on our way back home after our cruise, and it was less than desirable.

We've eaten both at McCoys and ordered room service. If we wer to order room service again, we'd split a meal, as it was so generous we had a lot left over that went to waste. Both were quite good.

Remember that Chick Fil A is not open on Sundays, even at the airport.
