I have never eaten at the restaurants at PBH. Do I need reservations for them? :confused3 Can you dress casual at Mamma Dellas? Does the Pizza place at the beach pool have anything besides pizza? (I am afraid I will miss the Bula Grill at RPR). Has anyone been to the fitness center there or the spa? I am sure I will be going to the fitness center, but I dont usually pamper myself at a spa.

I am not doing club this time (at least I dont think so). So I will have to get breakfast, unless I decide to bring poptarts or something. Is the Trattoria the place to get breakfast?
:goodvibes

thanks

after this I get to be in the "I've been to all 3 club!

Reservations maybe at Mama Della's depending on when you go. You can more than likely make the ressie the morning of the day you want to eat there at concierge or by calling. Its casual or resort casual. The salad is YUM! It comes with the entrees and its bottomless. All in all great food and service and request Joseph if he's working hes an awesome guy from The Bronx!

Splendido Pizzeria poolside has a really nice menu and we like it as much as RPR Bula Bar. You can get some excellent salads, burgers and light options. Sals also has great pizzas and paninis that you can grab and eat poolside.

Its a bonus to stay at PBH for all the different food options! So many more choices that the other 2 although I love the food at all 3.

Breakfast has a couple different choices to eat at. You can grab some coffee and a bagel or other light items like cereal and pastries at The Gelateria. You can have a full sit down order off menu or buffet at Tratoria del Porto. You can also get room service. You can grab an outdoor table on the piazza if it isnt too hot, thats always fun!

The Mandara Spa is a treat if you do decide to try it out and show your AP for a discount.

Pay a visit to all the pool (3) and take a cool (cold) dip in the plunge pool at the Villa Pool. They have great hot tubs at PBH too. I love the lounge chairs at the Villa Pool best and its usually nice and quiet for a nice change of pace one day.

Congrats on becoming an "all three" member and lets see if you have a favorite after a stay at PBH. I still rotate them all each trip cause I cant pick just one!

Sal's is our favorite. We eat there almost once a day. I love the pasta salad and my DS's fav pizza is at Sal's.

Don't miss Sal's pizza. Delicious and much better than Splendido's pizza(which is also good for sandwiches, burgers)
For breakfast, we love the Trattoria. They have a delicious buffet with omeletes, fresh fruit, waffles... or a la carte. We really enjoy sitting outside right on the bay. A great way to start your day.
La Gelateria also has bagels, pastries ,cereals and coffees. It also has scrumptious gelato -make sure you try .
Mama Della is good. We had some entrees-not that good, but the filet mignon with mashed potatoes was excellent. They are also very very friendly there and a great atmosphere. We have never had a problem getting same day reservations, even now during Christmas- New Year's week.
Bice is their upscale restaurant which we have never tried, but when I asked, was also available for same day reservations. However, it has not received very good reviews.
I went to the gym evry day. It's great. Anything you would need. Pretty spacious and clean. You'll enjoy it. It is right inside the Spa-never been but looks really nice.
We did try club this time and really enjoyed it. They have a great breakfast , evening is also wonderful, and the nighttime desserts-cannolis, tiramisu, biscotti are a great way to end your day.
Enjoy. We looove PBH!!!!!:goodvibes

We really liked Sal's but were disappointed in the breakfast buffet at Trattoria del Porto. We felt that it was inferior to the RPR's breakfast buffet.
