Restaurants at "moderate" resorts worth it?

Ok so I know that Port Orleans Riverside has a Table Service resturant, as does Coronado Springs I think?

Are these/other restaurants at the Moderate resorts worth checking out? You never hear much about them and ADR's probably aren't hard to get, but is this because no one thinks to go there or because the food is no good?

Both DH and I were disappointed with TS breakfast at Coronado Springs when we went in 2009. We ate there twice thinking it could have just been an off morning the first time and it wasn't any better. Maybe other meals are better, but I was put off.

We had a really great dinner at the Maya Grille (I think that is the name, it is the TS at Coronado Springs). The food and service were the best of that trip! That was in 2009. We were too tired to make our ADR in Epcot so we just stayed around our hotel and we were so happy we did, I would say it is worth trying!

Shutters at Caribbean Beach was delicious!!! The food I got was excellent quality, the portions were generous, and the presentation was just as nice as the pictures I've seen of signature restaurant dishes.

We stayed at POFQ in 08 (I think?). Anyhow, I realize that was a long time ago now and things could have changed since then, but we were sorely disappointed in the breakfast we had at the restaurant in POR. Very expensive for what we got, very average at best, and on top of that, DH got very ill and had to spend the rest of the day in bed Now that could happen at any restaurant, of course, so I wouldn't necessarily stay away from there because of that, but it certainly added to our list of disappointments. We never went back there again during that trip, and really, we prefer off site now and making our own breakfasts. But that's another thread
