We are flying into MCO at dinner time. We will have 2 checked luggages. We are not going to take ME that night. We are staying at a close Marriott and will get the shuttle back in the am to get on the ME.

Question-when we land we want to eat in either "On the border" or "Outback Steakhouse" for dinner, before going to the Marriott. I don't want to leave our luggage at the baggage pick up while we eat. Are these restaurants after/before security? Any ideas of what to do about our arriving luggage if we want to eat dinner at one of the restaurants?

PS-We are flying Jetblue

It appears the list is in alphabetical order.

ON THE BORDER LOCATED: Gates 1-29 . . Airside 1

OUTBACK
LOCATED: Gates 70-99 . . Airside 4

Disclaimer I'm not trying to be a ____ I would just like to share how and where

I found this info and that it was via a very quick google search . . Which I knew

would work because I have used it numerous times in the past when looking for

MCO information such as Hotels / Restaurants etc . . smileyface

There is a Chilli's on the other side of security and an Italian restaurant. It was either a Carrabba's or Macaroni's Grill. Check the website in case things have changed since our trip .

I can't believe how many food places there are at MCO. I am from NJ. Newark airport is an embarrassement with the food vendors that are there.

I personally would not sit and have dinner while my bags sat on the carousel.

And what restaurants you can get to depend on what side you come in on.

I would rather get my bags, get a rental car, and go to a restaurant that doesn't have airport pricing.

It's a Macaroni Grill

Outback is over in Delta's terminal... JetBlue doesn't look like it lands there. However On the Border should be right in the terminal where you land.

Chili's is outside security, along with Macaroni Grill

I agree, I wouldn't want to worry about my bags while I'm eating at some overpriced airport restaurant.

But under the circumstances, I wouldn't rent a car either.

Which Marriott are you staying at? We're staying at the Courtyard Marriott on Frontage Road next October. Before booking the reservation, we made sure there were restaurants within walking distance.

Even if you're staying at another Marriott, there should be a restaurant or two within a block or so. Easy to walk to.

Yes, we are staying at the Courtyard you named above. Since our plane is to arrive at 4:40pm, we will get our luggage and call the shuttle and then walk to a restaurant close to the hotel. As someone else pointed out, there is no reason to eat at MCO since even the foodcourt prices will be ridiculous. I think we paid $4 for a slice of pizza once. I believe the hotel has a TGI Fridays and a Chili's close by, we will walk, eat, sleep and take the shuttle back to MCO to get on the Magical Express. (Getting the room free with points)
